My Approach to Newborn Photography
As a top Los Angeles newborn photographer, I find immense joy in crafting beautiful and simple studio sessions that center around the love shared within your family and the precious presence of your little one.
In my approach, I tend to steer away from using props extensively, especially in a studio setting. I believe that the simplicity of the environment allows the focus to remain on the beauty of your child. Whether it's in color or black and white as you see below, the baby is the focus!
While I can appreciate the charm of prop-filled sessions, I often find that they can detract from the natural beauty of your baby.

Delicate Baby Photography
That said, as you can see by my portfolio, I do embrace subtle touches like delicate wraps, headbands, bonnets, hats for the boys and/or incorporating meaningful family heirlooms into the session. These accents serve to enhance the authenticity of the moment without overwhelming it.
For me, the heart of newborn photography lies in capturing the raw authenticity of each fleeting moment. From the gentle stretching of tiny fingers and toes to the sleepy smiles and curious gazes, every detail holds its own magic. It's incredible how these seemingly small moments can become cherished memories that endure a lifetime.
Simplicity
In my view, doesn't equate to blandness or lack of creativity. Rather, it's about finding beauty in the authenticity of genuine, unscripted moments. While I may offer gentle guidance during the session, my aim is to capture the natural interactions and emotions that unfold organically.
After all, it's these authentic moments that truly resonate and stand the test of time.
