I Love Being a Newborn Photographer
Why I Love Being a Newborn Photographer
Newborn photography holds a special place in my heart, it’s more than just taking photos; it’s about capturing the purest, most fleeting moments of a brand-new life. There’s something magical about those early days, the delicate eyelashes, tiny fingers and toes, and the peaceful expressions of a baby discovering the world for the first time.
As one of Los Angeles' top newborn photographers, it’s a privilege to preserve these moments that pass all too quickly, giving families keepsakes they can cherish forever.
In this blog post I am featuring this beautiful newborn. He was not too keen on chilling out so it took a bit to get him to settle in but once he did he was a posing machine! I think his parents were worried for a minute but with some mommy cuddles and a full belly he drifted right off.
I love that it was Christmas time!
Newborn Photography Story Telling
I love the storytelling aspect of newborn photography. Each session is unique, reflecting the love and personality of the family. It’s incredible to watch parents light up as they hold their little one, to see siblings gaze in awe at their new baby brother or sister, and to witness the tender connection that forms between a baby and their parents. These emotions are so genuine, and I feel so incredibly honored to document them.
Creating a Beautiful Newborn Photo Gallery
There’s also a creative joy in designing sessions that are tailored to each newborn incorporating my unique, clean style. Whether it’s using a sentimental heirloom, incorporating soft pastel backdrops, or capturing candid, natural moments, I love turning these tiny details into timeless art.
My studio serves all of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Maxine Evans Photography is centrally located in Agoura Hills, easily accessed off the 101 Freeway.
Above all, newborn photography reminds me of the beauty and wonder of life. It’s a reminder of how precious and fleeting these early days are. There are only this tiny for such a short time.
I’m grateful to play a small role in helping families hold onto them forever. ❤️
